The Local Civil Registry Office shall primarily be responsible for the implementation of the objectives and provisions of R.A 10625 (This law reorganizes the Philippine Statistical System, its administrative units and personnel. It also establishes the Philippine Statistics Authority, the central statistical authority of the country). And continuous, permanent and compulsory recording of vital events in the life of an individual as birth, marriage, death as well as all decrees, legal instruments and judicial orders affecting the civil status of every citizen.
